AMHD System

Purpose of the Project

Purpose of this project is to create a new Hotel booking system, taking advantage of new Java and EJB technologies and Object methodologies that we have. By using these new tools we delivered to Customer a system that is easy to use and maintain.

Objectives

AMHD system allows customers to set up search parameters (demand profile) for their meetings, search for the hotels suitable for meetings organization, book online all necessary resources for the meeting, view status of their bookings.

AMHD system allows Hospitality Division Staff members to maintain information about hotels, to maintain information about customer profiles, to view bookings, to view information about inventory in properties.

AMHD system allows Hotel staff to view and edit hotel inventory availability, rates, special offers, business rules, to view bookings for hotel resources.

Customer Requirements

System should be developed using Java 2 platform and Weblogic 5.1 application server.

The system should be developed to have XML-based open API in order to provide to customers the ability to develop their own web sites and use AMHD system for searching and online booking.
