Abstract

Customer, an Esselte company, is a leading manufacturer of specialty printers, software and supplies for printing labels, bar codes, receipts, and identification badges. Customer’s products provide solutions for many applications required by office workers, vertical market solution providers, and original equipment manufacturers

Purpose of the Project

The Microsoft implementation of printing contacts from MS Outlook lacks some of the key features such as: 

• Shrink to Fit
• POSTNET Bar Codes
• Address Correction
• Pre-defined Templates
• Contact Format

This Add-In was intended as a solution to the above listed customer expectations.

Solution

MS Outlook Add-In makes printing labels from Word a two-click operation. While in Outlook , you can simply click on the LabelWriter icon to print an address label. You’re then prompted with a dialog box that allows you to select from several different label templates and sizes. Besides the add-in includes the following key features:
